I’m making a request for interested parties to create and submit a piece of original REG artwork for possible selection for the first OFFICIAL REG Temple calendar 2004. Some of these pieces may also be considered for other REG Temple merchandise to be sold at the Official REG Temple Online Store, which should be open for business by the end of the year.

All artwork should be original, so photographic montages cannot be accepted unfortunately – unless of course the original photographs have been taken by the artists themselves. The artist’s interpretation of existing photographs and images (ie. from films, magazines, television appearances etc.) should be OK however.

Almost all of the profits from the sale of items from the store will go towards bursaries for the Waterford Trust Fund in Richard’s home country of Swaziland. The only exception being a small percentage from sales to pay for the costs of hosting the store itself. For this reason we ask that works be “donated” for use by the Temple Store. Copyright remains with the creators, however, and all selected works will be accredited to them.

The finished artwork will be reproduced at about 12″ x 9″ in actual size and with a full bleed. The artwork can be scanned by the creator and sent to us electronically. Ideally the scans should be of a fairly good resolution – about 300 dpi (Dots Per Inch) will be fine. Preferably the format for the scans should be .PNG – though Photoshop documents (PSD’s) will also be fine. If you are unable to supply these formats then .JPEG’s & .BMP’s will also be OK.
