The top-ranked season pass in the Australian iTunes store is for the Doctor Who Christmas special, The Snowmen, which (in Australia) is not available until Boxing Day.

Its position at the top of the iTunes leader board would suggest sales of the special, priced at $4.99 in Australia, have been strong.

Doctor Who is also one of the most popular shows on the ABC’s iView platform, an online and app-based TV service. It is the market leader for online TV playback in Australia largely because of its easy-to-use interface and a lack of commercials.
