Eastside Educational Trust
Richard E Grant is a patron of the children’s charity and arts provider, Eastside Educational Trust.
Eastside Educational Trust is a registered children’s charity and London’s leading youth arts provider. Their aim is to introduce children and young people to the arts, culture and heritage in London and to inspire and motivate young people to realise their full potential, by offering a comprehensive range of creative and cultural experiences.
The charity not only helps the future generation to develop their artistic skills and cultural understanding, they also introduce important life skills, such as leadership, responsibility, commitment and team work.
Each year Eastside Educational Trust provides more than 100,000 hours of arts activities to young people from many of the schools, colleges and youth groups throughout London and the South East of England. They also run national and international projects linking young people in the UK with their peers around the world. These projects are designed to foster cultural understanding, encourage modern foreign language learning and to support a global exchange of ideas and creativity.
Other patrons include Frederick Forsyth, Anish Kapoor, Zoë Wanamaker, Adrian Lester and Katie Derham.
