Fast Food
TV Choice Magazine – 28th January, 2003
In the words of Minty: “Welcome to Posh Nosh — extraordinary food for ordinary people.” In a new series of 10-minute comedies, Arabella Weir (The Fast Show) and Richard E. Grant are the modern-day Fannie and Johnnie Craddock — Minty and Simon Marchmont. They are a bickering, snobbish couple who tell us what we should eat and how we should cook it.
Naturally Nigella, Jamie and Delia are never mentioned. Nor is the fact that Simon is very obviously gay.
This week Minty and Simon explain why we shouldn’t like normal fish and chips. What’s needed is a sturgeon, an Aga and an award-winning architect!
