Stars go for casual look at film premiere

Richard E Grant and Steve Coogan were among the stars at the premiere of New Year’s Day. Dougray Scott was also at the screening, looking casual in an a white open necked shirt and dark suit.

The event was held in Brighton, the home town of the film’s writer Ralph Brown. Brown also appeared with Richard E. Grant in the cult film Withnail And I, was behind Lock, Stock The TV Series and will soon be starring opposite Vinnie Jones in Mean Machine.

Director Suri Krishnamma said of his film: “It is a difficult film to market, I think, but a thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyable film. I love it, I love every single frame of it.”

Money from the event will go to help young homeless people through the Centrepoint charity.
