A few people have mentioned that in the Cheers and Jeers section of the American TV Guide, The Scarlet Pimpernel shows up under the Jeer heading only because of A&E’s (American cable channel) failure to follow up the first installment with the other two.

A number of angry readers wrote us to complain that they have been waiting for months for the final two installments. The cable channel just announced that the other Pimpernel installments will air in October and November. It’s about time, A&E. Some of your viewers were ready to storm the Bastille.” Finally!
