Welcome To The REG Temple

The REG Temple is the official website for actor, author and director Richard E. Grant.

Richard has appeared in over 80 films and television programs, such as Withnail And I, The Scarlet Pinmpernel, Jack & Sarah, L.A. Story, Dracula, The Hound Of The Baskervilles, Gosford Park & The Iron Lady. In 2005 he directed his first major release, Wah-Wah.

This website is unique in that it has been run and maintained by volunteers and fans since 1998. For more information on its origins, please click here.


World Release Dates For Wah-Wah

The latest news from REG is that Wah-Wah will screen at the Tribeca film festival in New York the weekend of the 5-7th May and then go on general release in the USA on Friday the 12th May.

It will then screen at the Sydney film festival on the weekend of the 10-11th June and go on release in Australia at the end of June.

The release date for South Africa is now mid-June, and the UK release date will be confirmed within the next ten days.

I should also add that Richard will be introducing the film in New York and Sydney.

REG Donates Artwork To WAVE

Richard has donated a painting to WAVE, a charitable organisation working with people who have been bereaved or traumatised by the “Troubles” in Northern Ireland.

More information on the event, together with a larger image of the painting Richard donated, can be found at www.artwaveni.com, along with other celebrity paintings. Both the auction and art exhibition are due to take place from the 24th-29th April.
