REG & Family At Polo Tournament

July7

Nikki & SueW both sent me a pic and a small article from Hello! Magazine which has Richard, Joan and Olivia attending the Ebel Polo Masters Tournament back in May this year. You can read about it and see the pic here.

Also I have a “revisited” piece about the Withnail For Waterford event way back in February 2000. The article is from BBC News Online and you can read that here.

New Pictures Added

July6

The new REG Temple Gallery has only been up for a day and already I’m getting some very positive feedback. So good that I’ve added another 60 or so new pics already. Just click the “New Pictures” link that’s somewhere about there on the page and you should find the pics pretty easily. How’s that for service! :-)

Fairway Fairies

July6

The Sunday Mail, Night & Day Magazine – Sunday 6th July, 2003

You’ve heard of fairies at the bottom of the garden, but these are fairies on the golf course. It may look as though Jerry Hall and Richard E Grant are just up to some fairway antics, but they are shooting British film Tooth in London, in which Grant plays a retired fairy and Hall his wife and part-time “fairy godmother”.

The film’s pilot revolves around chaos in fairyland and a struggle to stop all the fairIes going bad. Could such a sugary premise be the cause of Grant’s jokey vomiting gesture? Or is it simply his response to their co-ordinating outfits

New & Improved Picture Gallery Now Online

July5

There may be one or two bugs to iron out (time will tell) but the new and improved REG Temple Picture Gallery is now online and open for business.

There are several new features of the Gallery. First, for those of you with slower modems, there are thumbnail pictures which are linked to bigger versions of the images – sometimes REALLY big versions!

I’ve gone back to many of the original pictures that were sent to me – in all different sizes and resolutions – and I’ve cleaned them up and uploaded them to the Temple site. This means that a good many of the pics up there will now print out quite decently if people want them for cards and mini-posters and such.

While anyone who visits the site is free to look at the thumbnails and the larger formatted images, for those of you who decide to “sign up” to the Gallery there are some added bonuses.

Registered users will be able to download images in plain form as well as in zipped form (to save a little on your bandwidth quotas). You will also be able to vote for your favourite images, post comments about them for others to read and also read what others have written.

A really cool added bonus is that registered users will also be able to send postcards using ANY of the images that are in the Gallery. Not just the same eight images that were previously available in the old Postcard section of the site – but the entire range of almost 500 images! The range will also increase as we get more images coming in (I have several dozen new images to upload which I’ll be organising sometime soon).

So there you are! Keep in mind that you do not have to register to see any of the pics, but it does make the Gallery a lot more fun.
