Thanks to Jenny, we have a transcript of what REG says in the ISA advert, and the accompanying photo.
First, look into those amazing blue eyes…
“O.K. So let’s assume you want an individual savings account. Now, do you want to do this the hard way – or the easy way?” (he pauses and smiles heartstoppingly) “Good.
Now here’s the number…”
Alice from the United States informs me that she bought a book of doll house miniatures for her mother and quickly came across a picture of REG in it. A bit different, huh??
Anyway, it’s called “The Doll House Book” and it’s by Stephanie Finnegan. It’s actually shaped like a doll house and is copyrighted 1999 so you should be able to find it at a bookstore or miniature collectable shops.
The Official Companion to the BBC Series – Geoff Tibballs
A glossy book with lovely photos has just been released in the UK, to accompany the new BBC series, The Scarlet Pimpernel. REG has written the introduction of course. I’m not yet sure of the publisher, but will let you know when I do.
Click here to see more pics, and thanks to Lisa (and others) for scanning them.
Polly has this little snippet of info for us. ‘Scarlet Pimpernel’, starts filming February 21st, but I’m not clear when it will finish. It is three 90min episodes, (but I think you knew that) and each episode will have a different director. The production office is with BBC Birmingham.
Chris found this snippet in a local paper: New film release – ‘Food of Love’ – It’s been on the shelf since 1997, according to the blurb it tells the tale of middle-aged people uniting under the direction of an assistant bank manager (played by REG), to perform Twelfth Night in an English village…
Annie just caught REG on 4’s the sizzler talking about the vampire film dressed to the nines in vampire-gear looking extremely tasty. His co-star kids mentioned him teaching them how to light your farts!!!!
